How to sell USDT and receive CFA francs on your Mobile Money

Selling your USDT for CFA francs takes a few steps: you send the crypto to a deposit address, then your Mobile Money number is credited. Here is the detail.

What you need

A PayFaye account with a verified identity, USDT in a wallet or on a platform that allows withdrawals, and a Mobile Money number from the country where you want to be paid, with one of the supported operators.

The steps

In the Exchange screen, choose “Sell”, the crypto, the network and the amount. The amount in CFA francs you will receive is shown before you confirm.
Enter your Mobile Money number and choose the operator. The number must be from the operator’s country.
PayFaye shows a deposit address, valid for 30 minutes for the chosen crypto and network. Send exactly the chosen crypto, on the chosen network, to that address.
After blockchain confirmations, the order moves to “payment received”. The Mobile Money payout is then checked (automatically or by the team).
Your number is credited in CFA francs and the order moves to “completed”.

Fees and timing

A sale has no Mobile Money fee: the margin is included in the rate shown. Blockchain confirmations usually take a few minutes (longer for Bitcoin), then the payout check can take a few minutes during business hours when a human check is needed.

Mistakes to avoid

Sending on a different network than the one of the address shown: the crypto can be lost.
Sending after the deposit address has expired (30 minutes): create a new order instead.
Sending a different amount than planned without telling support: a gap can delay processing.
